1.1    We (Nanosonics Limited ABN 11 095 076 896) collect some or all of the following categories of personal information through your use of our products (including our trophon® family of devices*) and services and through our websites:
(a)    Contact information, including full name, email address and phone number;
(b)    Business contact information, including job title, department and name of organisation; and 
(c)    (if you are accessing our websites from a computer or mobile device:) Information from your computer or mobile device, including data about the computer system or device you are using and analytical data, such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address.

1.2    We collect your personal information for the purposes of:
(a)    conducting performance analysis and reporting as part of providing you with technical and customer support services when you use our products and services;
(b)    providing you with technical, and /or promotional and marketing information about our products and services, including inviting you to participate in surveys or events and provide feedback to us; 
(c)    providing you with training and certification regarding our products and services;
(d)    responding to your enquiries; 
(e)    contacting you to follow up after participating in a relevant industry or Nanosonics conference or event; and 
(f)    contacting you for follow up information if you report a product issue, complaint or adverse event.

1.3    Your information will be stored for as long as it is necessary for the purposes above and to the extent permitted by applicable laws. 
1.4    The legal basis for our holding and using your personal information is to pursue our legitimate interests in administering and operating our business and enhancing the experience of our customers and users. 
1.5    We collect your information directly from you via your user interactions when you fill in an online contact form or online enquiry form, register for access to protected parts of our website, and to the extent you input your personal information when using our products and services (including when using our trophon devices).   
1.6    If you have submitted an enquiry via our website, we will not disclose your personal information except in accordance with clause 1.8 below.

1.7    If you have provided us with your personal information on our training website or if you have provided your personal information when using our trophon devices, we may disclose your personal information to your professional society, your associated facility or clinic in which our products and services are being used and in accordance with clause 1.8 below. 
1.8    We may disclose your personal information to regulators, auditors, supervisory bodies (and other similar bodies involved in the prevention, detection, investigation or remedying of seriously improper conduct or prescribed conduct), and service providers (including those to whom we outsource technical servicing and repairs and certain of our information technology functions), authorised distributors, professional and legal advisers, and our other related bodies corporate including in the US, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. Where relevant, we enter into European Union (EU) standard contractual clauses (or equivalent measures) with a party outside the EEA receiving the personal information. Transfer of data between Nanosonics entities is covered by standard contractual clauses that are in place between all Nanosonics entities that share and process personal information.
1.9    If you do not provide personal information to us as requested, it may affect your ability to access certain parts of our website and product information, we may not be able to respond to your enquiries, or provide you with training or information about our products and services, which may impact your use of our products and services. 
1.10    Your personal information will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and any consents you have given. Our Privacy Policy details how you can exercise your various rights in respect of your personal information, including your rights to access, correct/rectify or complain about the handling of your personal information, and how we will respond to your requests or complaints. Our Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time and is available on our website here.
1.11    For the purposes of the GDPR, Nanosonics is the data controller.
